Anachronistic Bible Reading. That's what Brett calls the tendency we have to read the Bible with an assumption (usually subconsciously) that the way we do church today is the way the early Christians did church in New Testament times. In this episode of our summer special series on the doctrine of the church, Brett shares how his eyes were opened to this common error and how it impacts our inability to flex and accept changes which are healthy and sometimes necessary in church life.
